Part-time Description Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking a part-time, on-call Driver to support our Richmond Regional Service Center. In this role, you will transport fire apparatus and ambulances that first responders rely on every day. This is a flexible, on-call position based on business needs. Schedule: Part-time, on-call based on business needs No set or guaranteed schedule Flexible availability required Work Environment: Driving fire apparatus and ambulances between locations Travel throughout the regional service area Key Job Duties: Transport fire apparatus and ambulances safely between service centers, customer locations, and delivery points Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe for operation Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards Maintain communication with management regarding schedules and delivery status Ensure vehicles are delivered in clean, safe, and operational condition Requirements What we’re looking for: Valid Class A or Class B CDL with tanker endorsement Current DOT medical card Safe driving record and strong attention to safety Ability to work on an on-call basis with flexible availability Ability to operate large emergency vehicles safely and responsibly Who does well here: Drivers who take pride in safe, professional operation Individuals looking for flexible, supplemental income People who enjoy independent work Drivers who value supporting first responders and their communities Work environment and physical demands: This role includes extended periods of driving, as well as climbing in and out of large vehicles.
