Today, we are looking for qualified candidates to join our Sales and Leadership Development Program and pursue a long-term career in sales, operations or management. We will invest in a candidate---s future by providing a multi-year development program that exposes them to all aspects of our business. During the program, we will work in a structured, thorough manner to develop an aligned understanding of their skill sets and long-term career desires. We will allow them the freedom to live into their dream by matching their passion, skill set and long-term goals with our needs. Upon completion of the development program, we can provide long term opportunities in sales (counter, inside, outside), or operations. About the Position: SDP Trainee - Sales personnel develop lasting, ethical customer relationships to maximize our share of the customer---s potential, to meet or exceed the established sales and gross profit goals, and to increase profit sharing. He/She becomes an integral part of each assigned account, understanding the customers--- business and needs, ensuring our role as their primary supplier This position will train the individual in every aspect of our business to prepare them for the day to day role of a sales teammate. In such, there will be several phases in development as follows... Warehouse (Phase I) --- Receiving --- Shipping --- RGA Procedures/Vendor Returns --- Deliveries and Truck Maintenance --- Vendor Product Knowledge Sessions --- Inventory Management Counter Sales (Phase II) --- Assist counter, "walk-in", customers with their orders and questions --- Answer customer's questions and requests over the phone --- Maintain a well stocked and clean counter space --- Complete a counter sales project to be decided with the manager Inside Sales (Phase III) --- Bids, Quotes and Submittals --- Product Procurement --- Job Scheduling --- Develop Vendor Relationships --- Purchasing required for sales management "Graduation" Upon completing the 3 phases of training you will be competent in the plumbing wholesale world and able to match your natural outgoing personality with the knowledge needed to provide world class service.
