SPA provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to a variety of Government acquisition offices. - These offices span throughout the Department of Defense to include major defense programs and new weapon - technology development programs. Analysts supporting these programs would continue SPA's decades of support to high-profile, major acquisition programs of significant importance to the future capabilities of the Nation in an era of renewed strategic competition.

Responsibilities
In this role, the Program Analyst will provide programmatic and technical support to a Dept of Defense Platform, Weapons, or Acquisition System program office charged with planning, assessment, management, and decision-making for various stages of life cycle support including system design and development; resource scheduling and requirements planning and analysis; program documentation development; and other aspects of program coordination and execution. - Responsibilities also include executive level meeting facilitation and briefing preparations. It is expected that the amount of independence in this position will quickly grow as the employee becomes acclimated to the customer and product set. We have opportunities spanning several offices in the National Capital Region.
Qualifications
SPA is looking for multiple levels of experience:

• 
  
• Junior: BA/BS (technical field) with 0-3 years of experience
  
• Mid-level: BA/BS (technical field) with 2-5 years of experience
  
  Required Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Experience providing technical or programmatic support to a large acquisition program (DoD Preferred)
    
  • Capable of working independently as well as with a team on larger projects
    
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications
    
    Desired Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Current DoD SECRET clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain Secret while employed with SPA
