Senior Operations Research Analyst - DoD - Lexington Park, CA (NAS Pax River) - Secret security clearance Full time position includes a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, paid vacation, match 401k and is an employee owned organization! Provide systems engineering expertise to research, analyze and develop an Integrated Modeling Environment (IME) that includes the integration of modeling language, modeling methodology and modeling tools. Additionally, the IME requires Reference Models (ontology), Knowledge Models (KM) (combination of architecture, logic and descriptions), Process Model (process for KM development and application) and Data Access (scripts to auto-generate model views and other engineering artifacts). Essential Job Functions: Applies scientific, mathematic, and statistical methodologies to the study and analysis of technological problems in relation to engineering and scientific development of processes, systems, and equipment. Uses mathematical and computerized modeling and other analytical techniques, to design procedures and execute these procedures for: experiments, tests, and evaluations on weapons systems or equipment. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Position requires A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related scientific or technical discipline and 14 years of recent and relevant experience or a MS or MA degree plus 10 years of experience. Active Secret security clearance. At least 10 years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position. Demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise is required. Desired Skills: Systems engineering expertise to operate and apply SysML modeling tools including Sparx EA, MajicDraw and Rhapsody. Digital Engineering / MBSE experience.
