Summary
Coordinate the efforts between sales and show operations staff. To
assist the Account Executive in the selection and design of
communication and staging equipment in response to the needs of our
clients, based on budgetary guidelines and accepted technical
standards. To act as an interface between the Account Executive and
technical staff during each phase of the project life cycle, from
inception to completion.
This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Technology team
and will be eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring
work in-office/show site 2-3 days per week based out of any of the
following locations:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist Account Executives in design and development of RFP's.
Partner with Account Executives in the operational coordination of
assigned events within established budgets.
Research technical limitations of show venues to determine staging
limitations and budget impacts.
Manage and communicate show requirements and budget limitations
with assigned show staff.
Create and oversee staging designs to ensure they work within venue
limitations and budget parameters.
Specify and request appropriate equipment, Freeman - AV staffing,
and local labor needs for shows.
Review all purchases and cross-rentals and their budget impact with
the Account Executive.
Oversee scenic construction to ensure they are within established
show design parameters.
Generate and maintain a complete and accurate Production Book for
each event.
Generate, distribute and follow a Production Schedule.
Coordinate the transportation of equipment and cross-rentals to and
from show site.
Coordinate and supervise on-site labor and review any labor budget
impacts with Account Executive.
Coordinate and manage on-site production and call show cues when
required
Submit all show related paperwork, expense reports, labor payroll
sheets, etc. in a neat and timely fashion.
Adhere to and enforce all standards and policies established by
Freeman - AV and The Freeman Companies
Develop and foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree or equivalent or professional work experience.
Proficient computer skills and an aptitude for CAD programs
(Vectorworks), Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrate ability to effectively manage time and resources..
Demonstrate organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret CAD/Architectural
drawings and renderings. Have excellent written and oral
communication skills.
Have excellent interpersonal skills.
Have wide knowledge base in Audio, Lighting, Video, and Set
Systems.
Minimum 3 years experience with on-site show management.
Ability to generate read and interpret CAD drawings, professional
journals, technical documents, operation and maintenance
instructions, procedure manuals or governmental regulations.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
The capability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the
general public.
The demonstrated ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and
geometry to real situations.
The demonstrated ability to calculate figures such as proportions,
percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw
conclusions.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
