LABOR CATEGORY: Consultant AEYON POSITION TITLE : Junior Analyst LOCATION : Alexandria, VA (Remote with periodic on-site responsibilities) JOB DESCRIPTION : Aeyon is seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about helping clients achieve excellence. Qualified candidates will have a creative, holistic, and systematic approach to problem-solving. The Junior Analyst supports the Acquisition Visibility (AV) team within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment, Acquisition Enablers, and Enterprise Information. The Junior Analyst will work closely with the Project Manager and Functional Requirements Manager to support the Agile implementation of an enterprise reporting and data analysis platform. This team member will also contribute to the overall success of the capabilities developed by working closely with the capability implementation team of business analysts, systems engineers, and development leads throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements management to the release process. Position Responsibilities: Provide support for documentation of functional and data requirements for systems and initiatives in support of the client. Provide support to the Functional Requirements Manager in facilitating the requirements management process and maintaining the AV backlog of requirements. Manage and maintain change control board processes. Provide support to the Project Manager including working closely to track progress, maintain status reports, and manage the Jira backlog. Support continuous improvement/continuous delivery (CI/CD) through contributions identification and documentation of process improvements. Analyze business/user needs and document requirements to support future development efforts. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Active SECRET clearance or an ability to obtain and hold a US DoD Secret Security Clearance EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's Degree required Qualifications: Self-starter, ability to work independently under general supervision and effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work objectives Excellent communication skills working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative and diverse environment Excellent problem-solving and research skills The ideal candidate will also have experience with some or all of the following: Agile Methodology SDLC CI/CD Requirements analysis Business process analysis Atlassian Suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence) ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS : The implementation and enforcement of Executive Order 14043 are currently suspended under an injunction pending further litigation.
