Job Description:

As a Business Analyst, you will be a key player in KeyLogic's innovation and growth efforts. You will be an integral member of Agile data science teams supporting US national security and energy missions. You will apply commercial business analysis tools to solve customer challenges. You will work on a broad range of topics including mission operations, logistics, finances, processes, and business operations. You will help identify customer needs and data sources and implement creative, rigorous models for data analytics. You will be a member of the KeyLogic Innovation Network and participate in open-source projects in the KeyLogic Innovation Lab. This is a Full-Time position with potential work locations across the United States, abroad, and remote. Job Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively in fast-paced, Agile, mixed team environment with data scientists, data engineers, software developers, interface designers, and geospatial experts to solve a broad array of data analytics challenges - Work closely with customers to identify their analytical needs, scope requirements, facilitate data collection, and design and implement solution on schedule - Participate in meetings, conferences, and reviews - Proactively tune models for performance and cost reasonableness - Document in clear, plain English every step of the analytic process and produce high quality customer products. Required Skills: - Strong problem solving experience with business analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, PowerBI, Visio, Project, SAS, or Splunk) - Strong database skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively - Ability to identify and pursue opportunities for program innovation and growth - Willingness to learn data science and data engineering skills to more effectively integrate with the team Additional Desirable Skills: As part of a multidisciplinary, cutting-edge team, any of the following optional experience is also viewed favorably: - Python or R programming languages - Spark DataFrames - Decision Model and Notion and Business Process Model and Notation - Operations Research and modeling and simulation tools - Knowledge Graphs - Programming languages, such as Python, R, Javascript, Java, Ruby, PhP - ModelOps, Deep learning and machine learning frameworks, libraries, and models - Open source or proprietary geospatial software - Visualization and UX design and production - National security or energy experience Education: Two years of business analytics experience. Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree in related subject and relevant professional certifications viewed very favorably. Clearance Requirements: You do not need a current/active clearance to apply, but must be able to pass and hold a government Public Trust (SF-85) background investigation.
