Job Description:

Asphalt & Paving EstimatorA key client is actively seeking an experienced and driven Estimator to join their team. The Estimator is responsible for and will oversee the preparation and review of all estimate packages, implementing department standards and procedures while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of estimate packages.Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years estimating experience in asphalt, concrete, or similar field
• Solicit and respond to bid opportunities across assigned geographic region.
• Strong network of contacts and customer relationships within industry strongly preferred
• Methodically evaluate and analyze bid specifications, plans, scope of work, related drawings, production rates, and profitability margins
• Stable work history
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience with heavy civil construction equipment
• Large heavy/highway project experience
• Concrete, underground and grading experience
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities.
• Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) coupled with ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and backgrounds.Compensation/Benefits:
