Position Summary **This Position is Contingent Upon Contract Award ** All Candidates Signed Will be on a Contingent Basis MAG Aerospace is bidding on a contract which supports the Department of the Navy''s Integrated Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence (IC2&I) Division with research, planning, design, engineering, prototype development, software development, integration, testing, and specified technology solutions. We are hiring for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester (Journeyman) to develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. The majority of the positions will work in the Patuxent River / St. Inigoes, Maryland region but a few positions will work out of: * Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, VA. * Beale Air Force Base in Beale, CA. * Keyport, WA. * Osan U.S. Air Force Base, South Korea. * Camp Smith, Oahu, Hawaii * Colorado Springs, CO. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: * Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. * Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers. * Create and maintain databases of known defects. * May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules Requirements Minimum Requirements Experience: * 3 years of Direct Experience working as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester with the coordinated Bachelor''s Degree detailed below * At least 1 year of the 3 years of experience must be while performing Software Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester functions on DoD/IC communication systems or networks. Education / Certifications: * Bachelor''s Degree in any of the following: Computer science or IT discipline; Technical discipline * OR * In Lieu of a Bachelor''s Degree, 7 total years'' of experience working as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester is required WITH an Associate''s Degree * OR * Candidates maintaining NO degree can be considered if they have in total 9 years'' of work experience as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester Clearance: * SECRET AS OF NOW BUT MIGHT REQUIRE TOP SECRET/SCI - CURRENT/ACTIVE (SCI - Eligible) IN THE FUTURE Other Qualifications: * Must be a US Citizen.
