. SUMMARY The position will provide Integrated Product Support
(IPS) program management and life-cycle logistics support services
in the acquisition and sustainment for specified weapons systems,
sub-systems, and Support Equipment (SE) to Naval Air Systems
Command (NAVAIR) Sustainment Group (NSG), NAVAIR supported Program
Executive Office (PEO) Program Offices, Commander Fleet Readiness
Centers (COMFRC), Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division
(NAWC-AD) and Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWC-WD)
customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the
following: * Provide organizational support to functional logistics
personnel, to include coordination, activation, implementation, and
structural integrity of planned initiatives and contractual
evolutions. * Support includes performing multiple logistics
functional/elements for Product Support Management Integration
(PSMI) Department, Program Office Product Support Managers (PSMs),
Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APMLs), respective
Integrated Product Team (IPT) Deputy APMLs, Logistics Element
Managers (LEMs), and Fleet staffs Resident Independent Logistics
Support Detachments. * Performs various tasks related to the
development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon
systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and
information systems. * Works on logistics and maintainability
programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations
on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of
weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development
of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems
acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis
and control; lifecycle cost (LCC) analysis and control; weapons
systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility;
Integrated Product Support (IPS)/Reliability & Maintainability
(R&M) program Test & Evaluation (T&E) planning and
execution; and, Integrated Product Support (IPS)/Reliability &
Maintainability (R&M) program management analysis. * Collects,
compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics,
maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. *
Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in
relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting
systems, and management information systems. SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT
AUTHORITY This position does not have any supervisory or management
authority. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Bachelor of Science (BS)
or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. * Less than three (3) years, but
at least two (2) years of full time equivalent experience in
conducting analytical studies applicable to Integrated Product
Support (IPS) and demonstrated ability to conduct studies,
analysis, or evaluations of Department of Defense (DoD) weapon
systems or equipment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Candidates
must be United States Citizens * Selected candidate will be
required to undergo a United States federal and state government
background investigation and favorably pass a drug screen. *
Excellent English writing, oral and presentations communication
skills before United States government officials. * Candidate may
be required to travel away from primary location in contiguous
United States (CONUS) up to 10% of the time. * Candidates must have
a valid United States passport with an expiration date of more than
one year from the date of hire. * Excellent writing and oral
communication skills (English). * Proficient knowledge of Microsoft
Suite of Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and
PowerPoint * The ability to pass a background check and drug screen
SECURITY/CLEARANCE Must possess a SECRET clearance WORK ENVIRONMENT
* Work will primarily be performed in a climate-controlled office
environment. Telework may be available depending on the specific
assignment and must be approved by the company and United States
government Contracting Officer Representative. * The work
environment may be augmented by indoor and/or outdoor aircraft
maintenance industrial and/or training settings (hangar,
flight-line, classroom, and other spaces) in operational Naval
Aviation environments ashore and afloat under variable weather
conditions. Cherokee Federal employees are included as covered
employees in U.S. Presidential Executive Order 14042, which
mandates Covid vaccines for federal contractors. Executive Order
14042 is currently blocked from enforcement pending court
proceedings. Therefore, Cherokee Federal is halting the application
of the mandate; however, if the injunction is lifted, Cherokee
Federal will restore administration of the vaccine requirement.
