Job Description:

F.H. Furr is starting an eight-week long, fully-paid Plumbing Apprentice program on September 12th, 2022, at the Furr Academy, which is located at our headquarters in Manassas, VA. This program is open to a maximum of 4 individuals.

This program is designed to create an entry-level Plumbing Service Technician after the completion of training.

While in training - a combination of classroom training as well as on-the-job (ride-along) training, apprentices will be paid $600 per week. The first full year of work after training should see an achievable compensation range from $50,000 to $70,000.

Qualifications:

* Must be mechanically inclined
* Ability to work independently, maintain a "can do" attitude and be a team player
* Commitment to truly serving customers needs
* Effectively communicate issues, repairs, and recommendations to customers
* Attention to detail, demonstrate speed, accuracy in the completion of tasks
* Must have a good driving record - a company vehicle will be provided before training is completed
