Job Description Our client is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Risk Advisory service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.As part of the team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects. Please Note: This role is located in Ft. Belvoir. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Demonstrated understanding of the Federal Financial Improvement Act (FFMIA), Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Guidance, Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM). Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE), and other federal audits and general federal IT. Controls principles requirements and experience applying the requirements in assessment of financial systems. Understanding of systems development phases and related work products, including requirements and design documentation. Experience in planning, executing and reporting on information systems controls assessments. Understanding of GAO, the Federal Information Systems Controls Audit Manual and Federal Audit Manual approaches, and ability to access information system controls in areas of Cybersecurity, access controls, change controls and segregation of duties. Demonstrated experience in evaluating controls within ERP systems. Experience in providing summary reports and working papers with detailed results and actionable recommendations. Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials. Qualifications Secret Clearance is required. Requires an independent worker and someone who is self-motivated and can independently interact with the client and communicate project milestones. CISA is required. We will accept a CPA. Familiar with IT controls and audit readiness support over IT controls (i.e. assessing CAPS and providing recommendation) Familiar with SSAE18 guidance and performing SOC reports. Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field. Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. Travel may be required. Ability to work overtime required on occasion. Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements. Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
