This position is for a large program supporting the U.S. Department of Defenses (DoD) Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP) within the National Capitol Region. The mission of the office is to ensure a healthy Defense Industrial Base (DIB) able to meet the warfighters needs with industrial capabilities upon which the DoD can rely on in an era of great power competition to fulfill current and future warfighter capabilities. We will have multiple opportunities available (pending contract award) for various customer and/or HII locations. Remote or hybrid (remote/onsite) opportunities may be available. The salary will range from 90,000 to $120,000 depending upon experience. WHAT YOU WILL DO ? + Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. + Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. + Coordinate with the relevant DoD and non-DoD Government agencies to ensure their industrial base requirements are met. + Interview industry for technical and market requirements. + Generate interest with industry to ensure companies respond to Government Requests for Information, Requests for Proposals, White Papers, and Bids. Minimum Qualifications + 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. + Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques. Effective data analysis and problem solving skills; attention to detail. Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. + Knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, hardware, and software including Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Experience or interest in materials, material applications, defense systems, and/or supply chains. + Experience motivating or coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. + Clearance: Must be eligible to hold a SECRET level security clearance.
