  Job Description
  DMS is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to join our team.
  Responsibilities
  
  • Provide day-to-day management and supervision of contract personnel and support operations, involving multiple tasks with large groups of personnel across multiple locations
  • Supervises personnel to ensure quality performance and contract compliance, and ensure a safe and fair work environment. Tracks work schedules to ensure the effectiveness of time allocation and production of quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Applies ISD knowledge and experience to provide oversight and mentorship of classroom and e-learning instructional systems design, courseware design, development, and writing to ensure course content and implementation is in accordance with instructional systems design methodology.
  • Assists with the identification and creation of instructional material to address field-driven performance shortfalls and client training needs.
  • Provides technical guidance on complex courseware design to junior courseware developers and instructional media staff members.
  • Regularly participating in meetings and maintaining effective relationships with project stakeholders, and managing needs and/or gap analysis to determine training requirements.
    
    • Supports course documentation including, but not limited to the course design document, instructor/facilitator and student guides. course syllabus, practical exercises, assessments, and related materials.
      Required Skills & Experience
      
      • Minimum of 7 years experience designing complex subject matter courseware and leading courseware development teams.
      • Minimum 5 years of experience managing contracts.
      • Minimum 2 years of successful supervision of subordinates.
      • Excellent written communication skills.
        Education
        
        • Must possess a masters degree in an Instructional Design, Education, Business, Administration, or Management related fields.
