Job Description:

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for an Analytics Architecture & Technology Support person to support our work at our headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

Data Extraction and Preparation support:

--- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to develop data acquisition mechanisms like data downstream, system interfaces, data extraction and transformations.

--- Develop construct and maintain a data hub framework utilizing multiple sources internal and/or external to the organization, in alignment with business requirements.

Data Management:

--- Installs and/or Maintains datahub

--- Assist with the implementation of Data Strategy findings related to the creation of the datahub



Required Skills

--- Install and configure database software

--- Deploy updates and patches

--- Transfer data from existing system to new platform

--- Apply database changes and testing for vendor maintenance fixes and new releases, conducts tests, and evaluates database package tools.

--- Create backup and recovery plans and procedures

--- Establish security protocols and framework for the datahub --- User access, provisioning, and control

--- Develop Application Programing Interfaces (APIs).

--- Prepare data for predictive and/or prescriptive modeling.

--- Create and test prototypes, documentation, share findings and iterate to achieve valid and useful data architectures.

--- Develop partnerships and touch points with key stakeholders to evaluate data sources, parameters, criteria for inclusion/exclusion, test, optimize, automation processes and other solution requirements.

--- Clean and transform data to be imported into the datahub.

--- Develop logical data models to be translated into workable physical database designs to accommodate new business requirements and processes: --- Data Modeling

--- Advanced Data Preparation using Python, R etc.

--- Data Blending

--- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends/patterns in complex data sets

--- Create and maintain documentation regarding data models, measures, and infrastructure --- Providing data integration support to a variety of workforce-related and analytics or statistical technologies in use across OHR and NIH which may involve APIs, chatbots, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Website (Drupal, .Net) and SharePoint technologies.



Required Experience

Business Intelligence (BI) tools

o Maintenance and enhancement of BI tools and/or systems

o Establish and maintain security protocols and framework:

-- Authentication Protocols and Systems

-- Single Sign-on and Trusted Authentication

-- Object-Level Security

-- Row-Level Security (RLS)

-- Column Level Security

-- User Filtering

-- Application Activity Tracking

-- Integrated Security

-- Encryption

-- Annual Security Audit and Penetration Test

-- User access, provisioning, and control

Data Security:

--- Apply data security frameworks that support the organization's data security policies.

--- Leverage existing data security mechanisms from source systems to replicate or develop new permissions, Row-Level-Security, Column-Level-Security, or data visibility.

--- Design levels of data indefinability that ranges from granular/identifiable data limited data, and aggregated data.

--- Develop user data profiles or "personas" permitted to access levels of the data identifiability spectrum.

Candidates MUST have the following:



Must have practical field experience in the last year, with a minimum of 5 years work experience in healthcare data analytics.
Must have worked within VA/VHA
Must be familiar with and have worked with VHA data.
