Description
We have an opportunity for a Program Scheduler to support an acquisition program at Patuxent River, MD. The Scheduler provides support in project planning efforts to ensure program success.
POSITION DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Interacts directly with IPT Leads, contractors and Subject Matter Experts to document and manage the planned execution of the program
+ Incorporates various Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) into a single, higher level program schedule to enable program leadership with the tool to manager cost schedule and performance
+ Utilize Microsoft Project to manage the government schedule and provide visual cues, identifying slipped tasks, milestones, and calculating critical path
+ Work closely with the program Risk Manager, participate in and supports regular risk assessment activities, EVM activities, and baseline reviews
+ Also act as backup to the Senior Operations Manager, working directly with the PM and coordinating activities across all elements of the IPT when the Senior Operations Manager is unavailable
Requirements
MINIMUM TANGIBLE REQUIREMENTS:
+ Associates Degree in a technical, business, management, or equivalent field in line with the above functional description or three (3) years experience in line with the above functional description may be substituted for the degree requirement
+ Active Top Secret clearance
