Data Scientist, SeniorThe Challenge:Are you excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set? As a data scientist, you can turn these complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges. Across private and public sectors - from fraud detection to cancer research to national intelligence - you know the answers are in the data.We have an opportunity for you to use your analytical skills to improve how we collect and exploit geospatial intelligence. You'll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help law enforcement identify cyber threats and make informed decisions. You'll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it.   • Experience with analyzing data and creating data-driven visualizations
  • Experience with using scripting languages to conduct and automate common data analysis tasks for exploration, conditioning, or advanced analytics
  • Experience with manipulating data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources
  • Experience with building statistical or machine learning models, including generalized linear models, tree-based models, neural networks, clustering algorithms, and time series models
  • Experience with contributing to or collaborating on analytics products using version control systems, including GitHub or Gitlab
  • Experience with using programming languages, including Python, R, or SQL
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or EngineeringNice If You Have:
    • Experience with GEOINT domain
    • Experience with activity-based intelligence
    • Experience with multi-INT fusion
    • Experience with using IC tools and applications, including JEMA
    • Experience with using GEOINT databases, including GIMS

The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD).
