Job Description:
Description LIA is seeking an experienced Junior-Level IT
Administrator. This person will provide a sound and secure
information technology environment that supports LIA's business and
technical requirements, including networking, server
hardware/software maintenance, E-mail, backup solutions, security,
cloud computing and policies and procedures development. The
candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and
maintaining the company's various computers systems, applications,
and firewall. This includes system and application upgrades,
updates, and patches. The candidate will be responsible for
securing company data and other resources and ensuring data
availability and disaster recovery. Major responsibilities (not all
inclusive);
- Providing end-user support, resolving technical issues, and
providing technical assistance for all operating systems and
applications.
- Maintain computer network connectivity.
- Maintain the company's digital infrastructure and provide
troubleshooting assistance to technology consumers.
- Trouble-shoot and solve problems related to hardware, software,
and network problems.
- Research and recommend the acquisition of network hardware and
software.
- Monitor network utilization and performance.
- Implements procedures for network optimization, reliability,
and availability.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic
solutions.
- Build long-term relationships with outside vendors for
IT-related products and services.
- Create and manage Office 365 account.
- Grant permissions to SharePoint sites upon the Operations
Manager/or CEO's request.
- Manage and update the Hardware/Software equipment list as
needed, as well as update all equipment. This includes date of
purchase, vendor, cost, serial number, location, and warranty
- Providing new employees with required hardware and appropriate
access to the company's computer systems.
- Manage and coordinate all IT-related matters, including data,
wireless communications, mobile technology, telephony, security,
and computer hardware and software.
- Maintain and update SOP accordingly prior to the 6-month
deadline.
- Responsible for overseeing, further developing, and
contributing to technical IT security services delivery.
- Update website information as required and needed.
- Establishing and maintaining a companywide CMMC compliance
program by establishing and maintaining a Cybersecurity Maturity
Model Certification (CMMC) certification and compliance vision,
strategy, and tactical plan that is realistic and achievable.
- Installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing hardware
and software components within the organization.
- Logging and tracking issues and resolutions in the company's
CRM ticketing system.
- Install and monitor ALL VTC/Audio equipment.
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness for the IT
department. Annual Budget includes
- a. Key Software Upgrades
- b. Client computing resources (Laptops, desktop, etc.)
- c. Network infrastructure
- d. Subscription
- e. Support/maintenance contracts Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience with IT administration and
support experience with windows administration and management of
Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Previous Experience in a fast-paced consulting or MSP
environment is a plus.
- Strong background in workstation and custom application
support, hardware/software systems installation, configuration, and
maintenance of user accounts.
- Set up and maintenance of Microsoft Office 365/GCC High/MS
Teams user accounts.
- Experience with Windows servers (2003 and above).
- Experience with Veeam Backup Solutions; Dell Storage Solutions
MD, SAN, DAS, Fiber, Dell Servers R900, 700, 800.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent
customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability
to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines,
and standards on assigned projects.
- Ability to manage multiple roles and projects and to see the
big picture.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and be adaptable.
- Ability to cross-train into other specialties.
- Ability to read, listen to, and understand information and
ideas verbally and in writing.
- Creativity, positivity, and confidence.
- Regular travel to various work sites throughout the U.S. may be
required and ability to support detachments as assigned.
- Eligible to obtain U.S. government security clearance
requirements. Certifications:
- CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
- CompTIA Network+ (Preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ (Preferred) Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Required)
