Job Description:

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support a network providing transport and enterprise services to our U.S. Navy Customer on site in Alexandria, VA..

Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance or Top Secret (preferred)

What will you do:

* Working in a team environment and will be responsible for designing and maintaining network configurations and diagrams, implementing new technologies, planning unique solutions, and troubleshooting network related incidents.
* Gain exposure to a variety of technologies including enterprise radio, microwave back-hauls and wireless access points.

Required:

* BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 (9+ years experience without a degree).
* Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance or Top Secret clearance
* 5+ years of experience working in large LAN/WAN environments supporting a DoD network
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with Juniper or Cisco network equipment.
* Experience configuring and troubleshooting network technologies and protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, TCP/IP, network cabling and IPSEC.

Required Certification(s):

* One or more of the following: CCNA, JNCIA, or other network related certifications
* One or more of the following: Security+, CASP, CCNA Security, other DoD 8570 approved certifications

Desired Experience:

* CCNP Certification or JNCIS-SP
* Experience with network management tools

Colorado Salary Minimum: $63,200

Colorado Salary Maximum: $153,300

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
