associates in our communities.Responsibilities:
- Assists in design, scheduling, and delivery of all wellness
programming to include pool operations, aquatic classes, and all
fitness and wellness opportunities on campus.
- Assists in maintaining a clean, safe fitness room. Regularly
checks equipment for safety and recommends repair/replacement as
- Assists in the planning and implementation of all Wellness
Department sponsored special events.
- Schedules and communicates Wellness Center information to
residents through written communications, event flyers, updating
bulletin boards, etc.
- Assists Wellness Director in implementing wellness programming
opportunities and initiatives and in promoting the Asbury
Communities Wellness model.Requirements:
- One (1) year of experience in fitness or health and wellness
program delivery environment required.
- One (1) year of experience with instructing group fitness
- Nationalized recognized group fitness instruction and/or
Personal Training Certification required (i.e. ACE, NSCA, ACSM,
FitTour, United States Water Fitness).
- Experience working with senior population preferred.
- Experience in pool/aquatics program operations preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
