As a Logistician at Vectrus, you will ensure that our customers have the support and equipment they need to successfully complete their mission.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

  • Craft purchase requisitions.
  • Oversee the purchasing process of various items including test equipment for our DoD customers.
  • Track engineering and test assets on both customer and company property.
  • Edit/review/create program related documentation.
  • Document and report on the status of equipment and test assets on both customer and company property.
  • Perform administration functions as required.
  • Participate and bring value to customer and internal meetings and discussions.

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

Experience using general computers and office equipment.

Working Environment:

Work will be conducted in an office environment. Local travel is required with the possibility of regional and international travel roughly 5 to 10% of the time.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience/Certifications:

  • Six (6) years' experience in the areas of Navy/Joint Operational programs and/or logistics support.
  • Three (3) years' experience in supporting the Program Manager and System Managers with the development and review of logistics procurement and management processes of life cycle logistics areas such as support equipment, test equipment, technical orders/data, spares, training, supply support, manpower and personnel, facilities, packaging, storage, transportation, reliability, maintainability, availability, provisioning, shelf life, design interface, and computer resources.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates (2) year degree from an accredited College or University in a related Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Programming, or related field.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word including advanced functionality (macros, formulas, pivot cables, look-ups, and database links).
  • Active SECRET Security Clearance.
