Regional Manager - Swimming Pool Management
American Pool Virginia has grown to be a part of the largest
swimming pool management, maintenance, construction, and
recreational facility management operations in the United States.
Every year, we employ over 1000 lifeguards to service apartments,
homeowner associations, country clubs, swim clubs, hospitality
businesses, condominiums, fitness clubs and active adult
communities. Job Summary The Regional Manager position is
responsible for the development, management and execution of pool
operations. The person in this position will interact with Property
Managers, HOA or Condo Board Members and property owners regarding
management and repair services. Monitoring and running of day to
day operations, which include maintenance, lifeguard and area
supervisor management, contract sales, preparation of the pools for
opening, scheduling pool inspection and obtaining permits,
winterizing the pools.
Responsibilities Interact with customers, Property managers,
Aquatic center Directors, board members and property owners/pool
users to ensure quality customer service. Work with local
governmental operations to see that all standards are met.
Train and support personnel assigned to the region. Ensure
service quality/delivery. Perform pool spring preparations,
seasonal operations, fall closings and winterization. Troubleshoot,
maintain and perform minor repairs of pool equipment. In charge for
contracts sales, repairs, product sales and billing. Oversees
seasonal pool technicians, supervisors and lifeguards. Work closely
with staffing department to ensure proper guard placement for
Monitor pool operations to ensure safety, organize supervisor
and service tech schedules in order to complete route services.
Work with swimming pool chemicals, pool equipment. Order and
control inventory of chemicals required to operate the pool.
Assist staffing department with personnel recruiting, hiring,
pool orientations, work schedules and mentoring. Handle day-to-day
operations, as well as administrative needs.
Coordinate pool walkthroughs and inspections with customers to
assist with repair and replacement needs and help develop annual
and longer-term pool budgets.

Ability to articulate in a clear, concise manner in front of a
group of people
Ability to work independently without direct oversight, but in
an overall team environment
Must have a valid driver’s license
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with sometimes
Ability to lift 50 pounds
