Job Description Job Description Job Title: Order Picker Job Description As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for riding a sit-down forklift and picking orders off an invoice sheet. Your duties will include locating items, pulling them, and stacking them on a forklift. The role requires the operation of a sit-down forklift and reach truck. You may also load trailers and pack items for shipping. All items weigh 50 lbs. Additionally, you must be able to park tractor trailers, though a CDL is not required. Responsibilities Operate a sit-down forklift and reach truck to pick orders. Locate, pull, and stack items on a forklift. Load trailers and pack items for shipping. Park tractor trailers. Work in cooler and freezer environments to pick orders. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when picking orders. Essential Skills Sit-down forklift experience. Experience with forklift, riding pallet jack, reach truck, and order picker. Warehouse, material handling, and order picking experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work in cold temperatures. Capacity to continuously lift 50 lbs throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
