Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload of family law cases from start to finish. Develop and implement effective case strategies, conducting legal research and drafting documents. Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediation sessions. Provide expert legal advice, counsel, and prepare clients for court appearances. Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients. Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and staff, ensuring quality work. Maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and support. Stay current on family law changes and attend continuing legal education (CLE) events. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Maryland state bar and in good standing. Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law. Proven track record of handling complex family law cases. Excellent litigation and negotiation skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. High level of empathy and the ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software (CLIO).
