Job Family: Data Science Consulting Travel Required: None Clearance Required: Active Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) What You Will Do: The AI & Data SME will support the Program Director for the PEO for Advanced Analytics at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) with broad data management and maturity efforts. The goal of this support is to mature the PEO's use of data related to cost, schedule, performance, and requirements for better and more effective decision making across the PEO - spanning from acquisition/resource to mission impact decisions. The SME will be integrated with the customer and provide both hands-on technical support to access, ingest, clean, visualize, centralize, and automate data processes for decision making, as well as provide consulting support to help the customer understand how to mature their data management overall and integrate solutions with customers. The SME should have experience working independently and be a self-starter, possessing the ability to accurately capture the customer's data challenges and recommend the best solution considering multiple factors such as available Enterprise tools, timelines, costs, and objectives, and use cases. Additionally, this position is part of Guidehouse's broader AI & Data horizontal team, offering reach back and connectivity to firm-wide network of data practitioners. What You Will Need: - An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" Federal or DoD security clearance. - Once onboard with Guidehouse, new hire MUST be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a (COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI)) polygraph. - Bachelor's Degree - Minimum TEN (10 ) years of professional experience - Experience working programmatic data sets (cost, schedule, performance) and possesses an understanding of programmatic metrics/decision needs - Experience as a data consultant or serving in a technical solutions' advisory capacity, translating critical capability needs for customers and recommending a particular technical solution, methodology/process, or tool - Experience using or introductory training on Palantir Foundry (must be able to upskill quickly) - Experience with Python and using Python or other programming languages to connect to APIs and integrate disparate data What Would Be Nice To Have: - Master's Degree preferred - Experience working as a SME or consultant for major Federal programs such as PEOs or PMOs - Experience with U.S. Defense acquisition policy and processes, particularly related to software, data, or AI - Understanding of AI governance frameworks/methodologies and acquisition strategies - Familiarity with LLMs; understanding of how to connect to and leverage foundation models for advanced data analysis; understanding of prompt engineering - Practical experience with data visualization tools and building analytical dashboards for clients (Tableau preferred) - Understanding of data management strategy and best practices; have worked with customers to mature and enrich their data sets, establish better data architectures or integrate disparate data sets, particularly related to program data What We Offer: Guidehouse offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
