Scout Space is seeking a skilled IT Manager to establish and manage our internal IT infrastructure as we transition from managed services to in-house IT support. This role will be instrumental in maintaining our IT infrastructure and keeping it compliant with current Federal Government regulations. The IT Administrator will also play a key role in expanding our IT efforts as Scout grows as a company. Local candidates are preferred. Responsibilities: Establish and manage internal IT operations, creating documentation and procedures for all IT processes Provide first-line IT support for employees, triaging hardware, software, and network issues Implement and maintain IT security controls in alignment with NIST and CMMC standards Administer and maintain company hardware, networks, and cloud infrastructure Provide occasional cyber security trainings to team members Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across company systems Support the management of relationships with technology vendors and service providers Participate in CMMC preparation and certification activities Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR in lieu of a degree 4 additional years of experience. 3 years of experience in IT administration and support Experience with CMMC and other similar compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171, ISO27001) Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and security principles Proficiency in managing AWS cloud services Experience with Microsoft Azure/GCC High environment Understanding of IT security frameworks and compliance requirements Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills Must be eligible to hold a security clearance Preferred Qualifications: Certified CMMC Professional certification Familiarity with government contracting IT requirements Experience building in-house IT support ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL frameworks Benefits: Open Time Off Paid Parental Leave Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 401k Matching Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dependent Care FSA Wellness Stipend Work From Home Stipend Life Insurance Long-term Disability plans Commuter Benefit Education Reimbursement Don't fulfill all the qualifications listed above? Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $120,000 - $200,000
