Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is bidding on a contract which supports the Department of the Navy's Integrated Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence (IC2&I) Division with research, planning, design, engineering, prototype development, software development, integration, testing, and specified technology solutions.
We are hiring for a Senior Computer Systems Analyst to analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing issues by applying knowledge of computer science principles in order to implement and improve DoD/IC computer systems and networks.
This position will work in the Patuxent River / St. Inigoes, Maryland region
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:

• 
  Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
  
  
• 
  Analyze or recommend commercially-available software.
  
  
• 
  Responsible for developing project plans, guidelines, and controls.
  
  
• 
  Act as team or project leader, supervising and advising with respect to the work of other computer specialists, scientists, or technicians.
  
  
  Requirements
  Minimum Requirements
  Experience:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    8 years of Direct Experience working as a Computer Systems Analyst with the coordinated Master's Degree detailed below
    
    
  • 
    Of the minimum 8 years of required experience, at least 4 years of experience in performance concerning DoD/IC communication systems or networks is required AND at least one 1 year of the 4 years total DoD/IC experience shall have been as a team leader or supervisor.
    
    
    Education / Certifications:
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Master's Degree in any of the following: Engineering or engineering discipline; Computer science or IT discipline; Technical discipline
      
      
    • 
      OR
      
      
    • 
      In Lieu of a Masters Degree, 12 total years' of experience working as a Computer Systems Analyst is required WITH a Bachelor's Degree
      
      
    • 
      Required Certification: Must have at least one 1 current professional-level technical certification (excludes intro or associate levels). Applicable vendors/areas include: Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Red Hat Linux; or programming certifications, such as C / C++ Professional Programmer, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) App Builder.
