Nakupuna Solutions is looking for a IT Program Manager to support a Department of Navy enterprise IT program. The ideal candidate has significant IT program management experience, values collaboration, and demonstrates exceptional leadership.

  Lead a diverse team of technical experts and analysts to manage and support a comprehensive Navy enterprise IT program.
  
  
• 
  Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and Contracting Office for all program issues. Facilitate communications effectively and efficiently.
  
  
• 
  Develop and maintain a customer-focused culture that delivers high quality performance and fosters high employee engagement.
  
  
• 
  Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive Program Management Plan to include multiple sub plans, such as a Staffing Plan.
  
  
• 
  Be accountable for contract deliverables, including but not limited to Monthly Status Reports.
  
  
• 
  Manage contract operations to include financial tracking and performance management. Supervise and track the team's progress to ensure cost, schedule, and performance requirements are met.
  
  
• 
  Direct daily staff and task activities and supervise assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers.
  
  
• 
  Identify and monitor key program risks and implement mitigation actions.
  
  
• 
  Strive to continuously improve service delivery.
  
  
  Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate is familiar and has experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • 
    Experience in progressive, broad-based information systems that includes any of the following areas: Software Engineering, including development and quality testing of applications; Network Operations, including network design, network management or network security; or Information Assurance, including Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations (DR/COOP).
    
    
  • 
    Experience managing and ensuring the successful completion of projects, including coordinating priorities and resources for projects and tasks.
    
    
  • 
    Experience managing a large team to include related tasks, such as recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
    
    
  • 
    Experience managing subcontractors.
    
    
  • 
    Experience directing daily staff and task activities and supervising assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers.
    
    
  • 
    Experience assuring quality of task products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.
    
    
  • 
    Experience serving as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
    
    
  • 
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Azure Boards or similar tools.
    
    
  • 
    Ability to work under pressure and to adapt quickly in a changing environment.
    
    
  • 
    Willingness to take action to overcome challenges or obstacles and look for ways to improve results.
    
    
  • 
    Outstanding communication skills. Ability to work with different stakeholders and devise innovative solutions for customer challenges.
    
    
    Required Certifications: PMP AND one of the following: CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, HCISPP, or similar security certification.
    Education and Experience: This position requires a Bachelor's degree, as well as a minimum of 15 years of professional experience. Additional years of professional experience may offset education requirements. A Master's degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience while a PhD may be substituted for 4 years of experience.
    Clearance: This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
