Eagle is seeking a Logistician to support the customer's C-IED mission.This position requires a clear and active TS/SCI Eligible Clearance and is contingent upon award of contract.Required Qualifications:* Knowledge of logistical procedures and manuals to procure, service, store and dispose of Unit equipment. * Knowledge and ability to coordinate separate functions (supply, budget, maintenance) to support Unit requirements. Knowledge is applied to identify Unit requirements based on past and future requirements. * Must possess a background in working in the near proximately of explosives* Must be able to travel to support schools, operation and training events as requested by Unit * Must have knowledge of Explosive range operations and have or be able to obtain Quantico Range Safety Officer certification and other Department of Defense (DOD) Range Safety Officer certifications as deemed by the Program Manager* Must be able to plan, coordinate and schedule explosive operations on ranges in the National capital region in support of CIEDU RDT&E operations as instructed by the RDT&E Supervisor * Must be able to attend schools that are deemed necessary by RDT&E supervisor * Must be able to drive a vehicle while pulling a large trailer. Additionally, the employee must be able to back these trailers up.* Physical Demands: The work may require stooping, bending and lifting equipment up to 100 pounds. * Must possess a valid driver's license * Must have his or her own automobile and must maintain active automobile insurance and registration documents. * Must be able to drive his/her own vehicle to a variety of locations within 50 miles of Quantico to perform work as directed by supervisor. * Must be eligible to obtain a CDL license if it is determined that it is needed to perform duties of the job. * Must be able to operate forklift and other warehouse-type equipment.* Environment will include everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions when working near explosives and shop machines. General Duties & Responsibilities:* Assist Unit personnel in researching availability of new equipment through trade magazines and attending trade shows as requested and assist in processing requests for procurement of new capital equipment. As required, solicits information from commercial vendors on new equipment/technology for programs and provides recommendations to supervisors or engineers. * Ensures adequate on-hand stock of expendable Unit supplies. Inventories and reorders when on-hand stock falls below operating levels. * Identifies equipment that is obsolete, outdated or excess through periodic survey. Notifies supervisor items for disposal of outdated or excess equipment. * Use guides include various manuals, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, and manufacturer periodicals. Refers to files and records in the Section for specific data or information relating to current work. Use initiative, judgment and resourcefulness in applying and adapting guides to individual situations and to make appropriate determinations in cases where appropriate guidelines do not exist. * Work involves performing various duties which support the procurement, inventory management, maintenance and final disposition of equipment and funds.
