DescriptionSAIC and CBP are looking to hire Java Developers at all levels (Entry - Senior) to join our team in Alexandria, VA (Kingstowne),--Responsibilities Include:---Design and implement JEE software applications---Use modern software engineering IDEs to design, development, and testing the software---Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand and document requirements in JIRA, then elicit feedback and refine solution through demonstrations---Present the solution at formal and informal design reviews, and document the design according to the Government's system lifecycle methodology--QualificationsRequired Skills and Education:---BS degree in computer science or related engineering field and a minimum 0-10 (+) years of technical experience or equivalent blend of education & experience-----J2EE, Spring Framework, REST, SOAP WS, JMS, JDBC----- jQuery, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS---SQL---XML---Unix/ Linux---JPA / Hibernate-----Spring Boot---Experience working with users to define requirements and demonstrate solutions---Experience designing and delivering complex, highly-scalable software componentsDesired knowledge and experience includes:-----Developing 100% automated unit tests---Agile development approach---Excellent written/oral communication skills and problem solving skills; ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levels---Strong initiative: must be able to take a high-level requirement, ask questions/seek clarifications, and get the job done---Ability to work in a high-pressured, tight-deadline environment---Must be able to multitask efficiently and progressively and work comfortably in an ever-changing data environment---Must work well in a team environment as well as independently---Jira---Docker---Node/NPM/modular JS---Apache HTTP Server--Familiarity with below Tech Stacks:-----HTML CSS JavaScript (at least one of its frameworks - Angular, REACT, jQuery), Core-- Java Spring Framework Spring JDBC/JDBC Template Spring MVC Oracle, Oracle, Struts, WebSphere--Customer Requirements:--Clearance: Must be able to obtain a CBP BI Public Trust to start work.Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.
