Automotive of Virginia POSITION OVERVIEW: The Payroll Assistant
will provide administrative and operational support to the HR
department, assisting with employee relations, benefits
administration, and day-to-day payroll tasks. This role is ideal
for someone organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about
helping employees succeed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure compliance
with federal, state, and local employment regulations Support HR
initiatives and special projects as needed Respond to employee
inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs Assist with
benefits administration, payroll preparation, and payroll reporting
Support onboarding and orientation for new hires Maintain employee
records, Payroll databases, and personnel files REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication and organizational skills Prior payroll
administrative experience is a plus Advanced computer skills in MS
Office, accounting software and databases Excellent organizational,
problem-solving, project management and communication skills Strong
attention to detail and good analytical skills Ability to maintain
confidentiality and exercise discretion Teamwork ABOUT THE
