Job Description:

Clean Harbors, a leader in providing essential industrial and environmental services throughout North America, is seeking a dedicated OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join our transportation team. This position is critical in supporting our mission to protect the environment through responsible handling and transportation of hazardous materials. As a Class A Driver at Clean Harbors, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers, while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance. Operate Class A Dry Vans on scheduled routes primarily across the North American region. Ensure the safe transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste while adhering to company policies and government regulations. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain detailed logs of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations. Coordinate with dispatchers and other team members to manage schedules, routes, and delivery requirements. Maintain cleanliness and proper conditioning of equipment, performing minor repairs as necessary. Assist in the loading and unloading process ensuring that materials are properly secured and handled with care. Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving any issues that may arise during transport. Strong driving skills and familiarity with long-haul transport Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and operating equipment Proficient in the use of electronic log devices (ELDs) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Current DOT medical card Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement (preferred but not required; training available if not already possessed)
