Aramark is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Food Service Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our dining services. The Food Service Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and outstanding customer service while maintaining our standards for safety and efficiency. Oversee daily operations of food service areas ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Assist in managing staff schedules, assignments, and workflow. Train and mentor staff in customer service and food handling best practices. Collaborate with management to execute menus, control food costs, and inventory management. Handle customer service issues and ensure guest satisfaction. Assist with budgeting and financial management to meet departmental financial goals. Ensure all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and operational. Strong leadership and personnel management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in inventory management software and Point of Sale (POS) systems Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ServSafe Food Safety Certification is preferred First Aid Certification is beneficial
