SUMMARY
Location:Hilton Garden Inn Fredericksburg
Position Type: Non-Management
We areseeking an organized team player to join our team as the
Kitchen Supervisor!
As t he Kitchen Supervisor , you will be responsible for assisting
the Operations Manager with the short and long-term planning
oversight of the entire kitchen operations in the back of the
house. You will plan and supervise the activities of the kitchen
operation to ensure the smooth and profitable running of the
business.
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Job Requirements:
- Assist in accurately forecasting food and beverage
revenue/expenses
- Assist in ensuring hotel staff is trained in financial control
procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables
- Identify major revenue and expense opportunities and possible
problems
- Critically involved in the day to day operations of food and
beverage outlet
- Manage and maintain the sanitation of the food and beverage areas
and equipment in the hotel to protect the assets, comply with
regulations and ensure quality service
Job Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the
Food and Beverage/Hospitality profession. This included the
knowledge required for managing people, complex problems, and food
and beverage management
- Propensity for working independently with minimal direct
supervision
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset to streamline operation and
enhance revenue intake
- Highly motivatedteam player with strong initiative and desire for
achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including
anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as
necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while
providingexcellent guest service

for an extended period of time.While performing the duties of this
