Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Upper Marlboro, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,302 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating (Day/Night) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting required. Pediatric nursing experience with neonatal intensive care experience preferred. License: Active state nursing license required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred. Must-Have: Experience in caring for neonates and infants, with demonstrated skills in various neonatal procedures. Strong knowledge of neonatal respiratory conditions and feeding issues is essential. Ability to provide developmental care and education to families. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role involves providing care to neonates and infants with a variety of complex medical conditions. The RN will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires rotating shifts, including both day and night schedules. Nurses will be expected to manage a patient ratio of 4:1. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the specialty as needed. Experience with specific neonatal conditions such as neonatal abstinence syndrome and respiratory distress is critical. Nurses should possess strong communication skills and be able to educate families appropriately. This role involves hands-on care, including but not limited to managing IV therapy and performing phlebotomy. Flexibility to work required holidays and every other weekend is also expected.
