healthcare facility in Midlothian, VA is seeking a Locum Maternal
Fetal Medicine Physician to provide both outpatient clinic and
inpatient high-risk obstetric care . The physician will manage
complex maternal and fetal conditions, supporting patients with
high-risk pregnancies, fetal abnormalities, and maternal
co-morbidities in a collaborative care environment.
Responsibilities include performing advanced maternal-fetal
diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus
sampling , evaluating high-risk pregnancies, and working closely
with specialized staff including sonographers and genetic
counselors. The practice primarily manages high-risk pregnancy
cases and utilizes EPIC EMR with advanced ultrasound technology to
support patient care. Shift Timings: Office and inpatient coverage
Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal
Medicine Fellowship Trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine Active
Virginia Medical License BLS Certification Experience managing
high-risk pregnancies and advanced fetal procedures Recent NPDB
