Job Description:

MedStar Health seeks a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) dedicated to providing quality care within our comprehensive healthcare system. This position offers the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary team environment, focused on implementing customized wound care treatments and ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care. This role requires a meticulous approach to patient care, a thorough understanding of wound management, and the ability to educate patients and their families on long-term care plans. Assess, plan, and implement wound care treatments for patients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document patient care services and outcomes accurately in patient records. Educate patients and families about wound management and prevention strategies. Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Strong clinical skills in wound care management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or wound care certification preferred
