Olney offers friendly neighborhoods, excellent schools, and easy access to regional amenities while providing a supportive environment for travel technologists and imaging professionals./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Olney, MD (20832) — Maryland radiology jobs / imaging jobs/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260–$2,420 per week/n - Position: Travel CT Technologist / Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) — On-site/n - Unit: IR / Cath Lab (no floating)/n - Shift Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 7:00am–3:30pm (8-hr); Wed 7:00am–5:00pm (10-hr)/n - Hours per Week: 40 (includes ~2 hours OT weekly)/n - Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics/n - Holiday Coverage: Every other holiday required/n - Weekend / On-call: No weekends or on-call required/n /n/nJob Requirements / Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology (IR) experience in a hospital IR/Cath Lab — CT technologist or IR tech experience preferred/n - Prior travel technologist experience required/n - Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license (or compact license accepted)/n - ARRT (R) certification — registered radiologic technologist/n - Current ACLS and BLS certifications/n - State fluoroscopy permit / fluoro permit required/n - Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting / PACS workflow/n - Ability to pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam (minimum 80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms)/n - Clinical experience with Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm/n - Two supervisor references required/n - Annual influenza vaccination required (no exemptions)/n /n/nResponsibilities / Key Duties/n /n - Scrub and maintain a sterile field for interventional, vascular, and pain procedures in the IR/Cath Lab/n - Operate Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm to provide fluoroscopic imaging guidance for procedures/n - Prepare imaging equipment, set up procedural trays, and ensure accurate EKG lead placement and monitoring/n - Assist physicians during procedures and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and complications/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, anesthesia) to deliver high-quality patient care/n - Maintain accurate procedural documentation in Cerner and adhere to radiation safety protocols/n - Perform and assist with a variety of procedures including:/n /n - Interventional: tunneled catheter placements (mediports, permacaths, Hickman lines), embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, PEG tube placements, PleurX catheter placements/n - Pain management: epidural blocks, radiofrequency ablations/n - Vascular: angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, IVC filter placements/n /n /n/n /n Advance your career as a CT Technologist / IR Tech in a supportive hospital environment while enjoying the Olney, MD community.
