Job Description:
PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital
rehabilitation services, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy
Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be
integral in aiding patients’ recovery processes through hands-on
assistance during therapy sessions and implementation of treatment
plans designed by our lead physical therapists. Our goal is to help
patients regain their highest level of independence post-surgery,
injury, or illness, and your role will be pivotal in achieving
these outcomes. Assist physical therapists in the execution of
patient therapy programs. Document patient responses to treatments
and report the outcomes to the supervising therapist. Help set up
therapy equipment and prepare materials for each patient session.
Educate patients and families about therapy regimes, post-treatment
care, and wellness strategies. Maintain patient confidentiality and
adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times. Support the therapy team
in research projects and continuous improvement of treatment
protocols. Ability to implement hands-on therapy sessions under
supervision Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records Capable of
instructing patients and families on therapy and care procedures
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid Physical
Therapist Assistant state license CPR and First Aid certification
preferred
