The Senior Director of Payer Solutions will be responsible for managing Labcorps regional health plan relationships for our Southeast Region as part of our Payer Solutions team and report to Vice President of Payer Solutions. The Senior Director of Payer Solutions will lead health plan strategy for the Southeast Region including health plan access, network operations, and support decision makers with analysis related to market opportunities, reimbursement, unit price management, and risk mitigation. This role will include planning, directing, organizing, controlling, and evaluating the implementation of strategic plans that will drive increased market share/revenue growth. Essential Accountabilities: Develop and maintain relationships with target and key health plans in the Southeast Region. Collaborate with Southeast Region leadership team and sales to develop/implement growth strategies Responsible for the development, negotiation and maintenance of financially sound contracting arrangements that deliver value for health plans and Labcorp. Oversee analysis of billing trend data and/or market information to derive conclusions which support negotiation strategy and address assure appropriate reimbursement. Assure that all contracts are in compliance with departmental operational, quality and legal requirements. Develop and execute on strategies to implement collaborative, value added programs with health plans. Keep up-to-date with industry shifts and trends while informing and broadening key stakeholders market knowledge as to how to best meet growth objectives. Mentor staff with a clear set of goals and objectives that are results oriented. Responsible for hiring, developing, training, and retaining high-quality, productive employees. Minimum Requirements B.S. Degree required with 5 years of experience. Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid products/reimbursement methodologies Experience working for either a health care provider managing health plan relationships or health plan in a role where responsibilities include network management. Preferred Qualifications MBA or MS in Healthcare preferred Ancillary contracting/laboratory contracting experience preferred. Understanding of Value Based Contracting strategies is preferred Prefer candidate will ideally be located within or nearby the Southeast Region. Additional Job Standards Skilled negotiator with experience working with finance/legal to drive best outcome and assure contracts are implemented. Demonstrated ability to develop/maintain executive level relationships. Strong people management and leadership skills. Ability to communicate and work well with people at all levels. Strong presentation, analytical, communication skills. Intentionally seeking and incorporating a variety of diverse perspectives to solve business challenges Coaching and providing value-added feedback and development opportunities for team members Creating a culture of accountability through communication of clear expectations and high performance standards Application Window: 3/6/2026 Pay Range: $150,000 - $200,000 annual bonus and equity eligible All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short- and long-term incentive packages.
