Job Description Radiology Technologist (General Diagnostic) -
Permanent and Full-Time Hire - CLICK AND APPLY! Under the direction
of the Diagnostic Supervisor, uses stationary or portable imaging
modalities in providing patient imaging services. Insures patient
positioning and preparation of facilities, equipment and supplies
for patient services. Transfers patients between wheelchairs,
stretchers, exam tables and patient units. Duties include bone
densitometry, as well as all general radiographic procedures.
Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic
Technology. Experience: Experience applying customer service
behaviors and communication skills required. One year current
experience as a staff technologist preferred.
Certifications/Licensure: Registered by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists required. Recent X Ray Technologist
graduates must achieve registered status in 12 months. (DEXA
scanner users must achieve registry within 12 months of assignment
in DEXA by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry or
equivalent). Current CPR/AED certification required. Clinical
Instructor Certification preferred. Shifts: Multiple
