This position is for an X-Ray Tech with ARRT certification. The
start is ASAP and the contract duration is 13 weeks. The schedule
consists of Friday from 9:00 PM to 9:30 AM, Saturday from 9:00 PM
to 9:30 AM, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Experience in
various equipment including GE, PACS, and Siemens is required.
Candidates should be familiar with adult outpatient and
bedside/portable procedures, as well as ER and ICU settings.
Experience with a range of examinations is necessary, including
abdomen decubitus, upright, and supine, chest AP, and lateral
decubitus. Experience with skull, facial bones, orbits, pelvis, and
lumbar spine imaging is also expected. A C-Arm procedure for
mobile/surgical work is preferred. Travel experience is preferred,
but first-time travelers will be considered. Daily average census
is 150 exams, with patient ratios of 1:6 for days, 1:4 for nights,
and 1:3 for weekends. Candidates should possess professional
knowledge and skills in infection prevention, isolation
precautions, and radiation safety. Fit testing is required upon
hiring, and compliance with health policy is mandatory. The
facility operates under a zero-tolerance policy for THC.
