Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An occupational therapy professional is needed to support student development and well-being within a school setting located in Richmond, VA. This role involves providing specialized therapeutic interventions that enhance students ability to participate fully in their educational environment. Responsibilities include: Assessing students needs and developing individualized occupational therapy plans Implementing therapy techniques to improve sensory processing, motor skills, and fine motor coordination Collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports Participating in team meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary care plans Occasional travel to multiple school sites as needed to provide services Desired qualifications and experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience working in pediatric or school-based settings Strong knowledge of child development and educational strategies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs Comfortable with traveling between locations within the region This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success through targeted therapeutic support.
