Job Description Job Description Inova Franconia Springfield Surgery Center is currently hiring a Full-Time, GI/Endo Registered Nurse to join the team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to: Intra-Procedure Assistance : Support the physician with equipment setup, specimen collection, and monitoring the patient’s vitals and comfort during the procedure. Ensure all endoscopic equipment is sterile and functioning properly Patient Education and Documentation : Educate patients on post-procedure care, document patient status accurately, and report any changes or complications QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of one year intra-op experience in endoscopy/gastroenterology, or a related field Strong understanding of endoscopic equipment, patient monitoring, and sedation protocols Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or possession of an active multi-state Registered Nurse license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon start Strong oral and written communication skills Exceptional patient communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision Life & Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Generous Paid Time Off Holiday Pay 401k Retirement with company match Tuition Reimbursement Student Loan Repayment Assistance
