Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,449 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Mid Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of ER Experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state required Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS required Must-Have: Must live 50 miles away Travelers must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN Willing to take 1:5 ratios Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired Cerner experience required Description: The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats every type of patient. Emergency Department nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Patients range from urgent care, simple procedures, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients. Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience.
