Registered Nurse (RN) | Intermediate Care Location: Arlington, VA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,338 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Intermediate Care / Telemetry RN – Virginia Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Arlington, Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week period); no call Highlights: Intermediate Care Unit specializing in pulmonary, cardiac, and trauma patients with complex care needs Float position across IMC, Telemetry (cardiac and non-cardiac), and Medical/Surgical units 4:1 patient ratio across all shifts with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more Epic charting system; accelerated or 2-day Epic training provided based on experience Advanced skill utilization: cardiac drips, dysrhythmia management, pre/post cardiac cath care, central line and PICC management Diverse patient population including ventilators, tracheostomies, chest tubes, cardiac conditions, and medical/surgical overflow Requirements: Active Virginia or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission (required) ACLS and BLS certifications (required) Cardiac Telemetry experience and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience (required) Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; previous travel experience required Competency in managing dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, heparin protocols, and titrating cardiac drips Experience with rapid response teams, pre/post cardiac cath, central line and PICC line care (required) Epic charting experience preferred; statement of Epic experience required for submission NIH Stroke Scale, IV insertion, traumatic brain injury, peripheral nerve blocks, surgical drains, and wound care/wound vac experience preferred Charge experience preferred COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); Flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions only) Smoke/nicotine-free facility compliance required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers the chance to work with a medically complex and diverse patient population in a well-supported intermediate care environment.
