An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in stepdown care to provide exceptional patient support in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers a chance to apply your clinical expertise in a setting focused on patients requiring intermediate monitoring and care, bridging the gap between intensive care and general medical-surgical units. Key Responsibilities Include: - Monitoring and assessing patients in a stepdown unit, recognizing changes in status and responding promptly. - Administering medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Educating patients and families regarding condition management, recovery, and discharge planning. - Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records. Desired Qualifications: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Experience in stepdown or telemetry units preferred. - Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassionate care.
