ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist Location West Virginia Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3 nights per week, rotating weekends, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Job Description The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages, including neonates, in the NICU and adult patient populations. The role includes patient assessment, planning and implementing treatment plans, and managing respiratory therapy equipment. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans based on physicians' orders. Administer treatments, including O2 therapy, humidity treatments, mechanical ventilation, and airway management. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as required. Perform procedures such as nebulizer treatments, CPAP/BiPAP, and chest physiotherapy. Participate in patient education and family support initiatives. Maintain records and document patient care in the electronic health record (EPIC). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required (CRT accepted if licensed before July 1, 2022). Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP. Experience in NICU and pediatric respiratory care is highly preferred. Must be able to intubate independently in pediatric and adult populations.
