Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Acute Care Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,172 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Float Pool (ICU Step Down / Brain Health / Long-Term Ventilator) – Maryland Start Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Baltimore, Maryland Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Every other weekend required; floating to three specialized units based on daily needs Highlights: Float between three high-acuity units: ICU Step Down (HICU), Brain Health Unit (BHU), and Long-Term Ventilator Care (Burk 2) Patient ratios vary by unit: HICU 1:5–7, BHU 1:10–12, Burk 2 1:17–20 based on acuity and staffing Diverse patient population including post-cardiac arrest, stroke rehabilitation, ventilator-dependent, and complex neurological cases Utilize Cerner EMR and work with specialty equipment including vents, PICC lines, chest tubes, tracheostomies, and high-flow oxygen Interdisciplinary support from physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services First-time travelers welcome; competitive local and travel rates available Requirements: Active Maryland RN license or Compact license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Strong experience with ventilator management, critical drips, telemetry, and complex medical-surgical patients Experience in LTAC, ICU step-down, or trauma settings preferred Charge nurse experience preferred Proven competency in float pool environments and adaptability across varying patient acuities Excellent time management and attendance record required; facility maintains strict punctuality standards Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers exceptional clinical diversity and the chance to expand your skill set across three distinct specialty areas within one facility.
