Location: Towson, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,405 per week
Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: CVICU RN
Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Rotating AM/PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30;
19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years of CVICU experience required;
will accept first-time travelers with CVICU experience License:
Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI required; OCN
and TNCC preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred
Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 Charting system experience
required Description: The CVICU RN will provide care for critical
patients recovering from cardiac surgery. Responsibilities include
managing postoperative patients with complex medical needs.
Patients often require the use of inotropic medications and exhibit
hemodynamic instability. You will actively manage cardiac output
and assess patient response to treatments. Experience with ECMO,
CRRT, and IABP is beneficial. The RN will be responsible for
monitoring and interpreting dysrhythmias. Collaboration with
interdisciplinary teams is critical. Rotation through day and night
shifts is required, including every third weekend and holidays.
Floating to other ICU areas may be necessary as patient needs
arise. Candidates must be comfortable with on-call duties as
assigned. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics, with
a daily census of 3-5 patients. The unit features advanced
technology and procedures to support cardiac surgery patients.
Readiness to respond to emergencies and perform various
